Bishnu Magar was born in Namanta village of Bhojpur municipality in Bhojpur District, which is located in eastern part of Nepal. His hospitality career was actually begun in 1993 when he was studying at school at age of 16. In Nepal, we have a dual system or provision where we can work and study at the same time. He Joined the Western Restaurant and learned cooking in Nepal. Due to his interest and passion, he enjoyed on this field and worked number of restaurants and hotels.

 

He had completed Bachelor Degree in Nepal, and also got hotel/restaurants experiences while studying. He moved to Shanghai city of China in 2002. Till now, he has over 25 years of Hospitality F&B Culinary experience in the freestanding restaurants and luxury tier properties in Nepal and China. His skills, expertise and knowledge with mastery of cooking philosophy technique on food are mainly in Western, Nepalese, Indian, Middle Eastern, Japanese, South Asian, South East Asian & Chinese cuisine.

 

He expertise is praised by many top persons, organizations and hotel industries with wonderful certificates and recognition. He claims that one unquestionable his ingredient is “passion”, which has ultimately supported to create some of the most innovative and outstanding cuisine. Similarly, light and imaginative dishes display a smart balance between innovation and an immense respect for the history of international cooking which is fortunately learned and got wonderful result on it. Currently he is working at the JW Marriott Executive committee as the head of F&B Executive Chef. And he supervises the hotel ‘s kitchen operation and mobilize the dedicated culinary team. His long and brilliant experiences have been supporting to augment the hotel business, food quality and creative change in the industry.
